Children's Lullaby Body Wash
DESCRIPTION
Our lullaby body wash is handmade locally and scented with pure essential oils specifically chosen for their sleep inducing qualities. Designed to be calming and gentle, while prepping your little one for sleep with the added benefits of chamomile and lavender.
Pro-tip: This wash is gentle, yet effective enough to remove make-up, dirt and bacteria on your face. We use it as an adult facial cleaner! Just remember that if you get it in your eyes it will sting (we didn't add the chemical that makes it "tear-free" like most baby washes).

Chamomile has calming and sedative effects to promote healthy sleep and decrease insomnia. Traditionally, it as been regarded as a mild tranquillizer and sleep-inducer. Sedative effects may be due to the flavonoid, apigenin that binds to benzodiazepine receptors in the brain. It has been found that chamomile flavonoids and essential oils penetrate below the skin surface into the deeper skin layers. This is important to note due to its anti-inflammatory properties.
Lavender is associated with feelings of calm, relaxation and peace. Lavender may assist with restful sleep by decreasing blood pressure and heart rate. It is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, while also assisting with wound healing and tissue growth due to its high level of antioxidants.
Aloe Vera is known to be very moisturizing and hydrating. It contains vitamin B complex, folic acid, vitamin C and carotene (a precursor of vitamin A). Aloe is gently, yet protecting making it the perfect addition to our children's body wash.

HOW TO USE
Get your little wet with warm water and apply the body wash all over, avoiding contact with eyes. Use as part of your bedtime routine.
